Starter Points II - (3/3) General Responses prior to and for the Mass Including the Leonine Prayers after Low Mass(3/3)
Hello Everyone. This last "Starter Points" post will cover the responses you must make as an altar server during the Mass. I'll begin with the prayers for vesting and end with the Leonine prayers during Low Masses.
Your responses will change depending on the Mass type, and the level of Mass (of which some responses will be said by other servers/clergy in their roles).
With all the response types, yes there are free server cards as well as ones you can pay for that are available online or from Latin Mass product companies/religious goods stores, however posting scans/copy images would possibly lead to copyright infringement and maybe get a request to remove such items in my gmail. Also, most cards do not have everything possible altogether e.g. Asperges (Sundays before High or Solemn Mass) + Vesting Prayers + Leonine prayers + responses, so I'll place the text of everything here in this posting.
Note 1: In this post, all the Latin will be italicized, the English responses in regular text. In addition for the Ordo of the Mass, the English translations will NOT be posted to conserve space, as well as the fact that while it's nice to know the translation of what you are saying, as a server you will be responding in Latin, not English, so you should be memorizing the Latin. The full text of the Mass will NOT be presented, only the necessary responses between priest/deacon and the server. An exception will be made for the Low Mass prayers after Mass, as some parishes do the Latin only, others the English only.
Note 2: The server responses will be boldfaced. In addition any cues that a server must do (e.g. genuflections, bows) Will be indicated in boldfaced, dark blue.
Note 3: If there is a part of the Mass that is omitted or changes depending on the type of Mass, alternate orders will be in Purple text. This will include the ``REQUIEM MASS``, which I will captialize with this title before the alternate part begins.
Before Mass
The Vesting Prayers
These prayers are said by the server while vesting in one's surplice and Cassock. Like the priest's prayers, they are preparatory as well for the servers who will partake in assisting the priest with the Divine Sacrifice of the Mass to be done:
The Cassock: (Make the sign of the Cross first before praying:)
LATIN: Dóminus pars hereditátis meae et cálicis mei; tu es qui restítues heretitátem meam mihi.
LATIN: Dóminus pars hereditátis meae et cálicis mei; tu es qui restítues heretitátem meam mihi.
English: The Lord is the portion of my inheritance and my chalice. You are He who will restore my inheritance to me.
The Surplice: (Make the sign of the Cross first before praying:)
LATIN: Indúe me, Dómine, novum hóminem, qui secúndem Deum creátus est in iustítia et sanctitáte veritátis.
English: Clothe me, O Lord, as a new man, who was created by God in justice and the sanctity of truth.
Directly before Processing out of the Sacristy
You will line up in the sacristy around the priest while facing the Crucifix. Some priests might begin prayer with the Ave Maria in Latin. However, most or all EF priests will begin with the following prayer and you will reply after him.
Priest: Procedamus in pace. Servers: In Nomine Christi, Amen.
English translation: Let us go forth/proceed in peace. Servers: In the Name of the Lord, Amen.
The Asperges
The Asperges or Sprinkling Rite with holy water takes place before all High and Solemn Masses on Sundays.
By virtue of the fact that the choir sings the first portion of the Antiphon prior to the priest returning to the altar, you will likely not have to do the reply starting with ``sicut``.
(The altar server, MC, or subdeacon takes the priests biretta(s) to the sedilia/chairs upon approaching the altar post-genuflection)

S. Amen
The Mass Begins - The Mass of the Catechumens
Note: During the Low Mass, both servers at the foot of the altar will give the responses. During the High
Mass or higher levels of the Mass, the Master of Ceremonies with other clergy if present give the responses at the foot.
However, I have been present at EF masses whereby if other servers in choir know the responses, they have said such. Unless proper rubrical, Magisterial, or Canon Law is quoted to suggest that only those at the actual foot can say the prayers at the foot in the higher levels of Mass and NOT the serving choir members, it will be said on here at S.U.D. that is it permissible.
Prayers at the Foot of the Altar
(The priest genuflects at the foot of the altar, or comes back to the altar after the asperges has taken place, after with being donned in proper clerical garments (e.g. chasuble) and begins the holy sacrifice).(MAKE the sign of the Cross with the Priest)

tuum, et in tabernacula tua.

The Gloria
This portion of the Mass occurs on all Sundays except those in the penetential seasons (Lent and Advent) and REQUIEM MASSES. The priest will not say this if he is donned in black or violet. If at a High/Solemn Mass, the priest will intone "Gloria in Excelsis Deo" and then say the rest of the prayer while the choir sings it. The priest(s)/clergy will likely return to the sedilia and chairs during the singing while waiting for completion.
In addition, depending on the feast day of the particular saint(s), or the solemnity, you might hear the Gloria regardless of Mass level. Check the EF ORDO calendar to know if you will be doing a Gloria, and therefore the corresponding serving actions.
(The priest stands at the middle of the Altar, extends and then joins his hands, makes a slight bow and says:)
P. Gloria in excelsis Deo (slight bow). Et in terra pax hominibus bonae voluntatis. Laudamus te. Benedicimus te. Adoramus (slight bow) te. Glorificamus te. Gratias agimus tibi propter magnam gloriam tuam. Domine Deus, Rex coelestis, Deus Pater omnipotens. Domine Fili unigenite, Jesu Christe (slight bow). Domine Deus, Agnus Dei, Filius Patris, Qui tollis peccata mundi, miserere nobis. Qui tollis peccata mundi, suscipe deprecationem nostram (slight bow). Qui sedes ad dexteram Patris, miserere nobis. Quoniam tu solus Sanctus. Tu solus Dominus. To solus Altissimus, Jesu Christe (slight bow). Cum Sancto Spiritu (+ sign of the cross with priests) in gloria Dei Patris. Amen.

Fuit homo missus a Deo cui nomen erat Joannes.
S. Deo Gratias.
