Young Catholics and Traditional Catholicism, picked up by the Register of all things!

Whoa!

Our local diocesan newspaper had one of their youth speak news journalists write an article on Young Catholics and Traditional Catholicism.

The Link is here: http://www.catholicregister.org./youth/ysn-news/item/15151-old-fashioned-worship-attracts-youth

I'm honestly pleased that the diocesan newspaper is picking up on this. First there was an article featuring a young Catholic Male who attends the Latin Mass and is a YTV "Life with Boys" star a week or two ago, and now this! This is a great sign to see and shows that there is natural growth amongst our Latin Mass communities in North America, particularly of interest to my generation.

My only caveat is that the journalist did not interview anyone in the Tridentine Latin Mass, or from the archdiocese of Toronto for news bites/commentary. Then again he attends University of Ottawa, so perhaps he could only write and interview from his local area, and submit by distance like Dorothy McClean does for the Register (she lives married in Scotland!).

Please read the article in its entirety, share, and discuss. Especially share this with your friends, family, and your pastors and lay catechists.

Pax Tibi Christi, Julian Barkin.
